| »VPP 200« - the new
glass lining fleece from Vitrulan: Performs
like no other reinforced lining paper in the world |
|
|
|
| Easy cutting! |
|
| Dry as well as wet cutting is
so much easier with »VPP 200«. Unlike other
lining papers or cellulose fleeces, there is absolutely
no risk of ripping or rucking when cutting free-hand. |
|
|
|
| Apply some pressure… |
|
| …our glass
fleece »VPP 200« can handle it! In contrast
to alternative lining papers, it cannot be compressed.
The pressure applied when performing a double-cut is visible
in the seam area on even the best quality reinforced lining
papers. But »VPP 200« makes this a thing of
the past. |
|
|
|
| Stable in all directions! |
|
| In contrast to other
materials, our glass fleece »VPP 200« will
not alter in dimensions either due to humidity or to manual
pressure and robust handling. This has a particular advantage
in the seam area, where the factory-cut edges will butt
together perfectly in any conditions. Other lining materials
can stretch in when humid, yet will shrink back to their
original dimensions after drying, resulting in gaps at
the seams
and edges. For this reason, and due to its excellent pre-saturation,
the pigmented glass fleece is perfect as a base for high-quality
decorative coatings. |
|
|
|
| Durable…and sustainable |
|
| Some lining products
are able to bridge cracks in the underlying surface due
to their high elasticity – but they’re pretty
useless when it comes to preventing new cracks. The low
elasticity of our »VPP 200« makes it significantly
more difficult for cracks to spread or appear. This means
that
your walls and ceilings are genuinely reinforced and will
last for longer without the need for maintenance. This,
combines with the fact that glass is one of the most abundant
materials on earth, makes »VPP 200« a truly
sustainable option. |
|
| The pigmented »VPP 200« glass
fleece offers all the advantages |
|
|
| Skin-friendly and healthy! |
|
| »VPP 200« presents
zero health risk, whether you are the installer or end-user.
It contains no harmful fibres and is skin-friendly. This
is proven by the Ökotex seal of approval. |
|
|
|
| Robust and easy to handle! |
|
| The integrated
pigmentation makes the fleece heavier, and therefore more
robust. This makes it easy for you – it’s easy
to handle and provides high wet stability. |
|
|
|
| Covers everything you do not
want to see! |
|
| The pre-pigmentation
ensures a good base covering as well as significantly minimising
absorption. With low-gloss or silk paints, 2 covers of
paint are easily
sufficient, meaning you save material, time and money!
If you use white low-gloss paints, one rich and even coating
may even be all that is needed (though we recommend the
testing of small areas first for suitability). »VPP
200« appears slightly transparent immediately after
application, but it becomes highly opaque once the adhesive
has dried completely. |
|
|
|
| Does not soak! |
|
| The higher pigmentation
leads to a pre-saturation, which means the adhesive is
absorbed by the fleece only slightly. The fleece can therefore
be repositioned easily in the adhesive bed, particularly
in the joint section, allowing you to push together/reposition
the fleece easily. When performing double cuts, it generally
is no longer necessary to apply adhesive after removing
the underlying strip. |
